A curated stay in st. Charles, IL

The Victorian Fox exceeded expectations for my group! There were 11 of us coming into town for my buddy’s wedding and the hosts here were super accommodating! They left us charcuterie cups, donuts, personal soap/body scrub samples, and were available often if we needed any information or help. The house itself is gorgeous. Victorian is the right word to describe it, but it was updated in all the ways that mattered practically and tastefully! The house is situated VERY close to downtown St Charles, so our group made a couple short walks there to explore, grab a meal, or find a fun bar. If you’re going to St Charles, Batavia, Geneva, or anywhere close it’d be a mistake to not go with the Victorian Fox!

If you’re on the fence about staying here, here is your sign to take the leap and just do it! We are from California and stayed here for 9 nights with our two kids while visiting family and absolutely loved it. I honestly didn’t want to leave! Samantha was incredibly responsive and kind to any questions we had. We have stayed at several air bnbs over the years and this topped the charts by far. Every room was unique with its own character and I loved the history displayed on the walls and how they truly kept the Victorian charm of the place (while making sure modern amenities were solid.) We loved walking the 7-10 min downtown for restaurants and Flower of Life Yoga was just a 5 min walk in the other direction. Would definitely stay here again!!

The Victorian Fox was such a beautiful, peaceful location! Our group couldn’t stop talking about how our Host’s attention was placed on detail in decorating and making us to feel the home was ours. It far exceeded our expectations! It was quaint, yet elaborate and we felt like royalty. This location was so perfect for our intimate retreat for our Women’s Life Group! Our host, Samantha & Carl were the best! They made our entire group feel so special with the wonderful welcome treats! We definitely will have the Victorian Fox at the top of our list for our next intimate retreat!

Would 100% recommend staying here! The host was incredible – super clear and quick communication. The place was decorated in an upscale Victorian aesthetic; each room has its own color theme. Our guests kept raving about how nice and cozy the spot was, plus it was within walking distance of some popular St. Charles bars and restaurants (including a brewery). We also celebrated my sister’s birthday during this trip, and the host connected us with a private chef who cooked us a nice dinner at home. Thanks again for our lovely stay!! 🙂

We highly recommend staying at the Victorian Fox. The location is fantastic, within steps of all that St. Charles has to offer. The owners went out of their way to make our stay the best it could be. The house is absolutely gorgeous and perfectly decorated. We had no problems accommodating the 10 people that stayed there and the four more that came over for dinners. Despite a very full house, we never ran out of hot water (no cold showers with 10 people???). Samantha could not have been more proactive, helpful, and accommodating. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

We were so fortunate to have stumbled across The Victorian Fox home. We’ve never been to St Charles but it offered a small town feel with great restaurant and brewery options all within walking distance of the home. The hosts were very accommodating through out our stay. Thank you again !

We absolutely loved staying here for my daughter’s wedding. Our big family was able to stay all together which made it so convenient. Our hostess, Samantha, was outstanding and extremely accommodating!! I highly recommend staying here if you’re in the St Charles area. Enjoy!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Victorian Fox. There was plenty of room and the home was very comfortable and clean. We had a busy weekend wedding and having this beautiful space was the perfect way to relax. The hosts were personable, thoughtful, and responsive. There was even a dozen doughnuts on the counter at check in. Highly recommend and hope to have a reason to stay again.
